Wrestling with JAR paths and dependencies. [message #219121] |

Using 3.3.2:
1. I have a web application and I've added J2EE Module Dependencies
through the project options. How do I remove dependencies from the list in
that dialog? I want to remove them from the list, not just uncheck them --
because I want to re-add a big set of JAR files, and every time I do it
creates duplicate entries. My attempts have left me with 4 - 5 copies of
every JAR file in that list, and no "Remove" button in sight.
2. I have a J2EE utility project, and when I add a library from another
project to it's library path (added the "Web App Libraries" from web
application project), the OK button on the preferences dialog becomes
mysteriously disabled with no explanation. What next?
Project is currently dead in the water until I solve the above issues. Was
investigating equally frustrating problems elsewhere before my IDE flaked
out on me, and Monday's deadline will approach very quickly. Grrr...
Also, the newsgroup link on this page
http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/testtutorials/gettingstarted /GettingStarted.html
yields nothing but a 404. If somebody on the web team reads this, might
want to fix that link. I found the newsgroup from other newsgroup posts in
Google results.
Thanks,
JC

In addition to question 1:
When I "deselect all" in the J2EE Dependencies list, then add a new JAR,
it reselects every single item. How do I make this not happen? It's
especially problematic when you have 5 copies of JARs you don't want to
select in the list, you can't remove them, and there's about 25 total (=
100 or so checkboxes).
Thanks,
JC
