Explorer in an external editor, I get an error message: "Error opening
external editor". The name
of the editor in question is included in the message. I have set up the
external editors in the
Preferences pane for assigning file associations.

It doesn't seem to matter what external editor I try to use(BBEdit,
TextEdit, etc), I get the same
message.

Am I doing something wrong? I've tried to look in the logs. I don't see
any error messages there.
