Hello,
It is planned to adopt the ICU4J plug-ins this week for GEF and Draw2d (M6).
For details please refer to bugzilla 125489. (

This will add a plugin dependency to both the org.eclipse.gef and
org.eclipse.draw2d plugins to the com.ibm.icu_3.4.3.jar plugin found in the
Eclipse platform deployment. If the size of this plug-in is an issue for
your particular deployment of GEF / Draw2d (i.e. you use Draw2d outside of
Eclipse), then there is a lightweight version available that is considerably
smaller that can be deployed as a jar. This is typically available on the
main download page for Eclipse platform.
