Newby: Linux Connector [message #20248] Mon, 09 June 2008 04:18 Go to next message

Hi there,

I used Subclipse before but want to try Subversive now. I understand at
Subversive you need some kind of low level connectors which are
proprietory and not shipped with Eclipse, right? I require a connector
for Linux-32. Where can I get one?

Regards,
Hauke

Hello Hauke,

All required connectors are distributed from the following update site:

http://www.polarion.org/projects/subversive/download/eclipse /2.0/update-site/

The only one moment related to Linux and Mac users is that we suppose
native binaries already installed on the client machine (including
binaries for JavaHL library).

Thanks for the answer. On stable debian we have only subversion 1.4.2.
Is the JavaHL 1.4.5 compatible to that?

AFAIR, JavaHL 1.4.5 does not contain any API changes in compare to JavaHL
1.4.2. So, these versions are compatible and you can use 1.4.2 version
instead of 1.4.5.
