I wondered this myself awhile ago, and after a quick search of the JDT
newsgroup I noticed that these views (well at least the memory view, and
probably the register view) is not supported by Java. Since Eclipse is a
generic IDE (shipped with Java support) these views were added, but the
Java debugger doesn't actually use them.
