Hello,

under Eclipse 3.0 and 3.1M4 I could configure the location of the Javadoc
files for the installed JREs. In 3.1M7 this option is gone and it seems that
the Javadoc is always taken from Internet. So how can I configure that the
Javadoc for an installed JRE is taken from a directory on my HD?

You can now set the javadoc location for each and every JAR from the JRE
Right click on a project>Properties>Java Build Path>Libraries>JRE System
Library
For each library included in the system library you can set a different
source attachment or Javadoc location

Setting the Javadoc location for each Jar works also under Preferences when
I disable the checkbox "Use default system libraries". But setting the
Javadoc this way is very slow.

For me this is a step backward because normally I download the JDK and the
docs and keep it on my HD. When I set the install location of a JRE I would
prefer also setting the Javadoc location only once and let Eclipse attach
them to every library. Later I could change the location on a per project
base..
