HTML rendering - image gets scaled [message #201823] Mon, 20 November 2006 03:04

I'm using a report that only contains a bar chart and let Birt (version
2.1.1) render it as embedded HTML. The resulting HTML contains some empty
div tags (wonder why they are there), javascript for some IE 5.5 problems,
and an image tag to the .PNG file that represents the bar chart. In the
Birt designer I specify the dimension of the bar chart (in pixels). This
dimension can be found back in the HTML image tag. However, the image that
Birt generates is a few pixels bigger than the specified dimension. As a
result the browser shows a scaled image which does not much good to e.g.
the used font in the bar chart.
I double checked that all margins of the report document are set to 0
(zero) and the chart is in the upper left corner of the document.

Any suggestions are welcome.
Regards,
Jeroen
