my application so I imagine I saw an example somewhere but I don't see

I like the manhattan router, but it seems as if it needs some handles.
all the turns are happening right at the same place in my lines, so the
mid point between my shapes is overwhelmed with these right angle turns.
If I could slide a few to the side it would be great!
