Bookmark manager/programmers log book? [message #201234] Tue, 19 April 2005 04:15 Go to next message

Hi,

With so much high quality source code in eclipse to browse and draw
inspiration from you can quickly loose track of where you've been, what you
looked at, what was good, what was better.

Does anyone know of an eclipse plugin that allows you to maintain basic
notes/log as you browse together with the ability to embed hyper-links that
would open source code and any other resource that you've been looking at?

Cheers, Steve.

Hi,

For such a purpose you can try one of these plugins (more may be available):

1. http://eclipsewiki.sourceforge.net/ (my favourite)
- Wiki for Eclipse
- you can link to any resource of a workspace

2. http://www.ronxsoft.com/
There are two products here: a small free note-taker and a non-free project
notebook.

HTH,
Regards,
Csaba

Hi Csaba,

Thanks for the information.

I've looked a both your suggestions and agree with you that
http://eclipsewiki.sourceforge.net is the best.

Thanks, Steve.
