Size of node = size of contained Label [message #201060] Thu, 07 August 2008 13:23 Go to next message

Hi,

I have a Label which shall participate in a Connection. Therefore, it's
wrapped into an (invisible) Node. This works fine so far, but I'm
struggling with two remaining problems:
1) I'd like to let the Node have the same size as its Label. I have
solved this partly by setting the Node's width to -1 in a listener to
the relevant attributes, but a newly created Node still is too big. Is
there an easy way to solve this?
2) If I want to change the Label of one of my Connections, I have to
click it two times to activate the Text editor. I'd like to have the
same behavior for my Label contained in the invisible Node. Passing
selections from a Node its Label works partly again: I receive the
desired behavior, but the Node/Label is not deletable any more.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
Chris

Hi,

no answer so far - is this because my question is too simple or because
it's too hard to be answered?

Anyways, I'm going on vacation tomorrow, so you guys have another 3
weeks :-)

Cheers,
Chris
