Drag and Drop Solution [message #200193] Mon, 04 August 2008 12:03 Go to next message

Hello everybody!

I followed some threads here in the group talking about Drag and Drop
between GMF models, like drag existing model elements from the project
explorer and drop them into a modeling diagram.

I didn't realize how to do it. Also, there is a bugzilla
(https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=112818) trying to solve
this problem.

I would like to know if the next version of GMF will include this fix, and
when it'll be released?! Or if someone has descovered how to solve this
problem.

Thanks,
Raphael

Hi Raphael,

My previous post about dragging and dropping worked well - at least, it
allowed for the creation of visual "shortcuts" of drag and dropped
objects from the model.

Hello Jevon/Alex!

Thanks a lot! It was exactly that that I was searching for!

However, in my case, I have two .gmfgen using the same .ecore .

I would like to know if: is it possible to drag and item from one .gmfgen
and drop it into another .gmfgen?

Thanks a lot!
Raphael
