Hi,

I am trying to create a new java file from scatch by using the AST API.
I start out by using some of the sample code from the Eclipse article
'Manipulating Java code'.

But in that article the minor details - but important in my case - of how to
get it saved has been left out.

I have tried looking in the Refactoring files but I get a bit lost in all
the details when reading the files.

I have found some mails on AST and the like in this newsgroup but I did not
find the clue on how to save to disk when done.

Any hint of how to go from e.g. an AST or CompilationUnit to disk?
Or it there a better way of doing it?

Thanks for any hints...

/Kent Simonsen

Hi,

You don't need to do more on this subject.
I continued my search after submitting this - and at the end I found
something in the mail archives from August last year that helped me.
