CDT 4.0.1 ? [message #195684] Sun, 08 July 2007 23:16 Go to next message

Hi,

I had quick question. When is the next patch rollup / minor release
going to be out for CDT 4.0.

I had read somewhere that is will be sometime in October ... Is this
true ? I had reported some bugs when have been fixed and checked-in so
do I have to wait till October for the fix or is there some nightly
build which I can try out ?

Thanks for you help,
- Vishal

I don't think we have an exact date set yet, but it will be sometime in
the fall as far as I know, to coincide with the Europa maintenance release.

Nightly builds are an option: http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/builds/

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your reply. Currently it seems that the nightly builds are
not posted. The link you sent me still contains the last Europa Gold
build. Is there some other location to get the nightly builds ?

Thanks,
- Vishal

I guess we haven't done a build since the Europa GA. If you need a
build I'd suggest asking Doug nicely via the mailing list.

Got the message ;)

I've been busy preparing for the webinar. I'm on vacation next week so
I'd better get the 4.0.1 builds started by then, I guess...

Cheers,
Doug

Hi Doug,

Are the nightly builds up and running now ? .. Hope you are not off on
your vacation yet ;-)

Also, I think this link on the CVS logs seems to be broken:

http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/builds/cvslog/HEAD/ind ex.html

BTW, congratulations for the webinar, it was pretty good !

Regards,
- Vishal
