The 3.7 GA release is due out at the end of this month, and it will be
available for trial download just like the 2.x series. You won't need to
purhcase a subscription anymore to get access to it as the ME felt that
the 3.0 release of Eclipse was stabalizing enough and getting close
enough/in demand enough that they could open up the download for those
users and not worry about an onslaught of support issues.
