I was wondering if anyone had thoughts on a JFace style viewer for Birt
Charts. By extending structured viewer and say creating a
BarChartViewer you could use Birt the same way you use Tables / Trees /
Lists. With a BarContentProvider (with methods such as getElements,
getValue, getTitle), new developers could reuse their existing
experience with JFace.
The reason I ask is because I have done some of this for a modeling
project I am working on. I haven't completed it for all the viewers but
I would be happy to contribute to this effort if anyone is interested.
Cheers,
ian
