Forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask about this, but I didn't want
to create a new bug report if this was already known.
I recently upgraded from 2.1.0 to 2.1.2. Several times in the last week,
Eclipse has completely locked up my Windows 2000 computer -- so hard a
lockup, the only thing I could do was pull the power plug -- keyboard and
mouse were dead, and the restart button on the front of the tower didn't
even work.
It happens when viewing extremely long logging messages in the console
(SQL debugging output from Hibernate). When you use the horizontal scroll
bar to scroll all the way towards the right, suddenly the screen and the
computer will just freeze.
Has anyone else run into this? Is it a known bug that will be fixed in
2.1.3?(I hope!)
Should I create a new bug ticket? The closest ones I found, by searching
on "scroll", are 27269, 12148, and 48288 (though some of these are Linux
and I am on Windows 2000).
Thanks,
Chris

Yes, file a new bug report which includes a VM stack dump (hit
Ctrl+Break in the DOS console)
