Can anyone be kind enough to tell me how to get eclipse tools for the RUP
process? I've searched for them on the search box but came out short.
would love any response. By the way, i intend to download both for
windows and linux OS.

RUP is a very large process. You have to specify what kind(s) of tools
you need.
If you're just looking for UML support, search at
http://www.eclipse-plugins.info or http://www.eclipseplugincentral.com/

Hope this helps,
Eric

thanks eric. am reading the plug-in page. But i think it'll really take
some getting used to that is why i need your help. am going to download
the complete eclipse package but i'd need a plug-in for business modelling
and requirements management for now. which do i use? am sure there must be
a documentation but eclipse seems to look like linux, so much population
and one needs guidance to step in tune and time.
thanks

Search for plugins you need at the sites I gave,
http://www.eclipse-plugins.info or http://www.eclipseplugincentral.com/

I don't know of what is available for modeling and requirements -
hopefully you can find some free or inexpensive plugins. But you might
have to consider purchasing the IBM Rational product(s) that includes
many of those advanced tools.

Hope this helps,
Eric
