Eclipse 3.0.* PVCS issue solved [message #178668] Tue, 21 September 2004 09:21
Eclipse UserFriend
I figured out how to get pvcs working on the Eclipse 3 stream.
Since there has been some inquires here I thought I should share what
I learned.

I'm using the merant PVCS plugin version 2.0.8 which installs and
runs correctly in the Eclipse 2.x stream. This plugin has a dependency
on org.apache.xerces.

Xerces is no longer installed by default in the Eclipse 3 stream. So
to get PVCS working I simply copied all the com.merant.pvcs* plugin
folders and the latest org.apache.xerces plugin folder and pasted them
into the Eclipse 3 plugin folder.

PVCS plugin now works.

Don't know why I didn't try this sooner.
