libraries "report parameters" [message #172602] Thu, 22 June 2006 10:05 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi there,

Can someone tell me if reports' "report parameters" are automatically
passed to libraries' "report parameters" or if I have to configure the
libraries' ones to get reports' ones as default ?
O if the reports parameters are accessible in libraries datasets with
params["foo"] syntaxe, without having to declare them in libraries "report
parameters" ?

If anybody understood me... Thanks, Thomas.

- You need to explicitly add library parameters to a report design by
dragging and dropping the library report parameter to report design.
- Library data sets can access report parameters defined locally in the
library.

I see. Thanks.
I guess that the library's report parameters won't be filled unless you
delcare (drag) it in the report. Right ?
