Installing BIRT on Sybase's EAServer [message #171025]

What version of BIRT are you using?

Where did you put the BIRT jar files?

I presume you are using EAServer to run the BIRT web application. Did it generate any errors when deploying the War file or on
server startup?

I deployed the birt.war file into EAServer so the jars are under
EAServer\Repository\WebApplication\Eclipse_BIRT_Report_Viewe r\WEB-INF\lib.

I added the commons-logging-api.jar to this directory.

I didn't get any error messages when I installed the war file and I don't
get any when I try to display a simple report (the report just has a
title).

I've only used Birt from within a java component in EAServer not from the webserver, but we had to deploy the birt jar files to the
EAServer/java/classes directory to get it to work. I'll try and deploy the war this afternoon and see what happens on our servers.
