Hello,
I got a problem with my Eclipse. When I try to check out a J2EE-project
from a cvs-server it is always put into the "other project"-folder in
the J2EE-view. Although it is an J2EE project. As this happens only on
one computer I hope I think that there's something wrong with the
preferences. On an other computer it works quite well. On the one where
it is not working I tried to delete the workspace several times, and
checked the project out for many times. It seems that the workbench was
resettet everytime, but that didn't help me with the problem. As the
computer where it doesn't work is a computer in a software-lab in
university I am not able to install another eclipse.
So, I hope anyone could have a clue what I can try, as for now I am not
able to use the J2EE-features for example let the project run on any server.
Thanks
Johannes

I had a similar problem a while ago. Can you confirm that the ".setting"
folder is checked out along with the project. If it is not there, maybe
because of an "cvs-ignore" setting, eclipse consider the project to be
an ordinary java project.
Best regards,
Alex
