I have tons of old reports written in an old version of BIRT. When I deploy
them in the latest engine, they defintely do not look the same as they used
to. Basically, I am going to have to rewrite every one of my reports in the
latest designer, so that they will look right when generated in the latest
engine.
I am just curious if this is something I am going to have to get used to, or
if the development team is planning on addressing this issue in the future.
At the very least, it would be nice if I could open them in the new designer
and save them in the new version.
Has anyone else seen this issue when you upgrade BIRT, or do your reports
all have the same, pretty layout as when you first designed them?
