Hi,
Though this is not directly related to Eclipse, I thought I might find an
answer here.
I have been working with RSA (Rational Software Architect). The tool
currently does not allow a transformation from UML to WSDL. For that we
have to download a samples project and install it in our workspace and run
it as a plugin.
Here is a link from IBM that tells us how to do it -
http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/rational/library/06/04 11_johnston/
In one of the steps of installation the link says "Now that you have
imported them, these samples are included as plug-in projects in your
current workspace, which means that you cannot directly execute the
transformations. To use the transformations, you have to start a runtime
workbench, ensuring that the new plug-ins are included in its
configuration. Once the new workbench is running, you can either import
existing models into its workspace or create new models to work on. "
I am however, unable to understand how to get that samples run as a plugin?
I have not worked on plugins and stuff so I am not sure how to get this
thing working.
Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Murthy.

You must have basic knowledge of how eclipse works to get this done.
Have you tried on of the sample plugin examples found in the eclipse
documentation?
Try this one:
http://help.eclipse.org/help32/topic/org.eclipse.platform.do c.isv/guide/firstplugin.htm
Focus especialy on:
http://help.eclipse.org/help32/topic/org.eclipse.platform.do c.isv/guide/firstplugin_run.htm
Yes I know - it is a "hello world" example but 90% of what you must know
to run you plugins is presented in this example.
