of the currently selected element in the change set structure to the
clipboard, not the entire structure.)
In other words: is there any way to extract the information about which
resources I modified while working on a task? Attaching the context to
the bug report is not what I need in this case, because some modified
files could have been removed from the context.

Yup, this has been requested before:
175765: Add commit comment template variable for modified files
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=175765
Please vote for that bug, and note that it is marked "helpwanted" which
means that we are seeking a community contribution from someone
interested enough in this feature to provide it.
