I'm considering using Eclipse 3.1.2 + CDT 3.0.1 for a C++ development
project on Mac (I'm currently using Xcode). I can't seem to find the
options for setting up the formatting options the way I need them.

1. Automatically inserting closing braces.
2. Adjusting the indent when pasting.
3. A code formatter. I've read other posts about using 'astyle' for doing
formatting, so I might give that a try.

Am I missing something or are these features just not there? These are
great features of the Java part of Eclipse that I'm surprised haven't been
implemented for C/C++. I've become so used to having them in all the other
IDEs I use that I'm not sure I can give them up.

Any suggestions on workarounds or additional plugins would be great.

Thanks.
