Open a different perspective on startup using arguments [message #164984] Thu, 10 August 2006 10:52

I'd like to be able to create a new workspace directory, and then start
eclipse and have it come up pointing at that workspace, with various
perspectives loaded.

I'm part way there:

mkdir myfolder
eclipse -data myfolder

opens eclipse in the new folder "myfolder", and creates the .metadata
directory. But I then have to manually open my CVS perspective, and add a
repository, and manually open my CDT perspective.

Is there any way that I can specify that I want these perspectives, on
launching eclipse?

Many thanks,

Roger Pearse
