jumping to errors from console view not working [message #164160] Tue, 21 February 2006 00:00 Go to next message

If I understand the CDT documentation correctly, when I do a build and
errors or warnings show up in the console window, I should be able to click
on error or warning icons and jump to the corresponding errors in the
relevant files. This isn't working for me. Only raw output shows up console
window, nothing mouse-able. I'm using eclipse on windows xp with the cygwin
tool chain and my project has it's own custom make file. Any pointers
appreciated.

You are looking at the cosnole window - you should use the "problems"
window for that case.
If you do not have this window, try "Window->Show View" and aktivate it.

Thanks! I guess the docs are out of date. They indicate that the clickable
error and warning indicators are in the console window.
