Report Viewer Web Application after Invalid SQL Query [message #159818] Wed, 10 May 2006 12:58 Go to next message

We may have found a bug with the report viewer application, but I would like
to see if anyone else can verify it or if it is a known bug already. We
have:

JBoss 4.0.3SP1
BIRT 2.0.0

We have a report where the query is passed in as a parameter. If an invalid
query is passed, obviously the report is not created correctly. In
following requests, however, even if the query parameter is valid, all
reports seem to be failing.

Has anyone seen this?

If you are using the ViewerServlet in "frameset" or "preview" mode and
not using __overwrite=true -parameter, the report is written to a file
on disk and later calls just pass the previously made report.
