Dear friends,

sorry for the easy question. could you please let me know how to migrate
java project to new Eclipse version if you happen to know?

it seems that there is no way to upgrade Eclipse from old version to new
version. for example, my current Eclipse is 3.1.1. I don't think there is
a way to upgrade to Eclipse 3.2 after launching my current Eclipse.(please
correct me if you know how to upgrade Eclipse from 3.1.1 to 3.2) then the
only way for upgrading is to install 3.2 to another directory. the problem
is that how to migrate projects in old version to new version of Eclipse.

I create java project on source file folder, not default Eclipse's
workspace. also I wonder where Eclipse save project's related information.
for example, jar packages information, JVM parameters, running config, etc.

any hint will great appreciate!
Sammy

Sammy,

Copy the entire workspace directory from your old version of Eclipse to
a new directory. Then point to that new directory with Eclipse 3.2.
Most, if not all of your settings should be maintained.

Hope this helps,
