how to control width of compartments [message #158638] Wed, 07 November 2007 06:53 Go to next message

am using a compartment with "List Layout" in the gmfgen set to false. As
expected, this allows me to insert shapes into the compartment with full
control over their positioning. However, upon inserting, the width of the
compartment seems to be recalculated and the compartment gets horizontally
extended automatically without the possibility to reduce the width
manually (unless the shapes are removed again). Has anyone else
experienced this behaviour and are they able to give me a hint at some
parameter setting (sure there is one...) necessary for blocking this
auto-recalculation of minimal compartment width? Thanks and kind regards,
Jörn

ok, solved. It seems that the additional width appended on the right hand
side of the compartment is the minimal width of the compartment figure (I
am using a Labeled Container). The desired behaviour can, hence, be
achieved by setting the minimal width of the latter to 0. Many regards,
Jörn
