I want to open an UML file using Eclipse (Papyrus) that friend of mine has given me. The folder has 4 files:

  • .project
  • model.di
  • model.notation
  • model.uml

I simply want to open the .uml and see how he has created the relations, I mean the drawings...

I had installed Eclipse Juno and now I've installed latest Papyrus version. I've tried to open the UML using Project Explorer and Model Explorer but I don't get it.

Hi,

The UML file doesn't contain any graphical information, so if you're interested in the visual diagrams, you need to open the *.di file (With the Papyrus editor, which should be the default editor for this file extension).

Camille
