How linear is Hyades profiling performance? [message #14630] Fri, 08 April 2005 19:26

This may seem like an obvious question if you know more than I do, but I'm
wondering if all the profiled code (that is in my filter) gets slowed down
by the same amount?

In my case the slow down seems to be about ten-fold, but I'd like to be sure
that the *relative* timings are still the same. It's possible that the
reason I'm asking this is because the base times are inflated during
profiling (which may be entirely expected I suspect) and I'd like to see
the un-inflated times reported as base.
