Hello, I've used Eclipse before, but always with an all-in-one release
build. I'm trying to preview the new web tools 1.5 beta version. Its
dependancies were against the 3.2RC6 eclipse version. I downloaded these
dependancies. One thing to note is that it was very difficult to find
documentation which explained specifically how to install these! After
poking around, I was able to determine you just unpack these into the
existing eclipse directory, and then start eclipse with the -clean option
to detect the new stuff. I did this, but I don't see many things I expect
to see, like the wizard to create a new web project (which was present in
the fully released 1.0 WTP all-in-one version. If platform could be a
factor, I am using SUSE 10.1, with GNOME desktop. The JDK/JRE is IBM
1.4.2.

Ok so I feel a little silly answering my own question here, but maybe it
will help someone else. I accidentally located an option titled Manage
Configuration which was located under the Help -- Software Updates menu.
In this window, there was an option to view all un-enabled features. Sure
enough, everything I was looking for was there. I was able to click them
one at a time and enable them. Isn't that special... I guess I totally
miss the point of this step, since isn't that what the -clean option is
supposed to do?
