Global method [message #153511] Thu, 13 April 2006 12:30 Go to next message

Is there a way to put a javascript method into a library and call from any
of my reports? I have a lot of string parsing/formatting with special
conditions that I would like to be able to do without having to put the same
javascript in every report.

I don't really want to create a new java class and deploy that with the
reports for this (I would rather use a library with a javascript method)
because of deployment issues, but can do that if it's the only way.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

floor

floor,

Currently this is not possible with 2.0.1. I believe 2.1 will address this
issue.
I believe you could put the global function in a template though.
