generating html output for eclipse and website [message #152517] Mon, 05 April 2004 18:48
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

I'd like to generate html output for the eclipse help and for my website
without wanting to do the work twice.

What is the best approach to do that? I've played a little with maven/xdoc
which looks good. Unfortunately I have <pre> tags (displaying formatted
sample source code) in my content. Maven/xdoc generates a lot of whitespaces
which destroys the formatting within the tag. Thus maven seems not to be
appropiate for my needs.

Maybe I could use the help builder of eclipse itself. How to use it?

Any other ideas?

Regards,
Jan.
