Assigning a port and IP-Adress to Report-Viewer in BIRT Designer [message #150146] Sun, 02 April 2006 12:14
Eclipse UserFriend
Is it possible to define the port and ip-adress, that is used by the
Report-Viewer included in the BIRT Report-Designer ?
In the help it is recommended to leave port and server-address blank.
But when i try to assign a port e.g. 81 and an ip-address e.g.
192.168.0.1, then the report-viewer doesn't work.
On the same computer, an apache webserver is running on port 80 as well
as a tomcat server listening on port 8080.
Another possibility would be to tell the report-designer to use the
installed BIRT-report-viewer-runtime webapp on the tomcat server.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks in advance
