Does GMF supports defining stereotypes to associations between classes ?

I am quite sure it does. See:

In this tutorial you have a creation tool for every distinct
association, but you could also have an EClass (which will be your
association) with an attribute (which will be the stereotype) in your
metamodel. Thus you cancreate associations in your model with editable
labels.

Hello Milan,

if you are talking about associations in the Ecore diagram (org.eclipse.gmf.ecore.editor)
then an answer is "No".
