menu bar under KDE Linux [message #149324] Sun, 26 October 2003 01:37 Go to next message

Hello,
When I use eclipse under Linux (SuSe 9.0, KDE 3.1), the size of fonts from
the menu bar is too small. I have used the "control center" from KDE to
change the size of the fonts from menu bar in frames. Every frame has
changed the size of it's fonts, except from the eclipse main frame.

The second problem is, when I choose the menu bar (e.g. File), I can not
see, which line is selected. Under Windows the selected line hovers to
indicate that, it is selected.
Here I cant see anything.

I have search in google, but I couldn't find anything useful.

Can anyone help me ?

Peter
PS sorry about my poor English, it is not my native language.

I have solved this second problem by myself. It came from KDE default
konfiguration.

Peter,

this depends on which Eclipse version you are using. There is one based
on Gtk, and another one on Motif. Neither of them knows anything of KDE,
so the settings you make in KDE have no effect.

Assuming you are using the Gtk version, you can make font settings in
the gnome control panel (Gnome is based on Gtk), which will affect any
Gtk-based app, even if it is running under KDE.

regards
Christian
