Newbie: problem running C++ application [message #147748]

1. goto Run -> Run...
2. Select C/C++ Local Application
3. New
4. Set application name and appropriate project
5. Click apply
6. the "Run" button is grayed out! I can't execute my program!

I am running Linux, Eclipse 3.1 SDK and I downloaded the CDT runtime & SDK.

Also... I am new to eclipse. I was surprised how slow the website has
been today & yesterday. Was a major update just released?

Did you leave a required field empty or it's invalid? There should be a
message in the upper left corner if something is wrong with your
configuration.

3.1 GA was just released. I think everyone is flocking to the web site.
I have also noticed it is very slow.

So It's because your .exe file not might be getting created that's why ur
run button is greyed out.

I don't know how to solve problem.because as per help ur .exe should be
made after saving appli.
