Problem with Tool Galerie [message #145800] |

After using the new Version of GMF 2.0, I encounter some strange behavior
at the tool group palette. The palette contains 4 different objects and I
can use it to make new objects, but the description seems to be wrong, if
I would like to make an object of kind A, the editor makes a new object of
kind B. I checked my mapping file and it seems to be ok. Where can I make
sure which symbol in the palette makes the specified type of objects? I
did not have this problem with GMF 1.
Thank you for reading this post.

Hi Malte,
Are you sure the property Tool of all Node Mappings within the
..gmfmap are pointing towards the right element in .gmftool?
It seems to me that, occasionally, the wizard that generates
the .gmfmap file fails to fill in that property right. When
that happened to me, some Node Mappings where not pointing
to the right Creation Tool element from the .gmftool file.
