How to keep java windows from popping up [message #145509] Wed, 29 March 2006 16:42

I am using the Ant view to run Ant scripts from Eclipse. If I am running
in a separate JRE (which I must), and the Ant script execs an external
command or invokes a javac compilation, it pops up a Windows command
window (or a DOS window as some call it).

How do I get rid of it? I already checked to make sure it runs as javaw.
My application depends on a specific vendor-provided JRE and I can't
change this right now, so I have to run it in a forked JRE.
