In my Eclipse 3.1.2 installations, the content assist in the New Java Class
dialog Superclass field does not work well. Hitting CTRL-SPACE does display
a list of possible superclasses, but neither double-clicking on a list
element nor hitting ENTER with an element selected results in the class name
being placed in the dialog field. Also, if I type the first character of the
class name and hit CTRL-SPACE, I get no list display at all (though I get a
brief display of an hourglass icon).
The content assist worked fine in 3.0 and in 3.1.0. Does anyone know
anything about this?
TIA
