Locale/Time Zone question [message #144086] Wed, 15 March 2006 11:48 Go to next message

I'm trying to output the current date/time at the top of my report using
the current locale... I was displaying the value of new Date(), but this
gave me the value in UTC time. I tried using toLocaleString() and this
still displayed my result in UTC.

Since that function is supposed to display it in the local time zone, I'm
guessing my time zone is set to UTC somehow as far as BIRT is concerned.
How can I change this?

I would check the rhino api to see if they have anything to set the locale.
I just glanced at it and I didn't see anything though.

This is a common problem. I can't believe nobody can answer this?
