Extending TPTP for gprof [message #140615] |

Hi,
I have just started to implement support for gprof within Eclipse and I
thought it would be useful to present the profiling results using the TPTP
framework (and possibly to even integrate more tightly with TPTP). How do
I go about this? I've looked at the javadocs a bit, but I haven't been
able to find what I need yet.
If this is the wrong place to post this, just let me know where I should
post.
Thanks,
Chris Culy

Hi Chris,
You can try start with the following document:
TPTP Platform Project Architecture
It is not totally up-to-dated by it should give you some basic idea how =
TPTP is structured and function.
The quickest way probably is to map the gprof data to the XML4Profile =
event that can be loaded by the TPTP loader to its EMF model and =
visualized by the TPTP views.
