outline pane problems [message #140515] Mon, 27 February 2006 10:11 Go to next message

Somehow I have turned the following behavior for the Outline pane.

When I select some class I can see all members (methods, fileds...) in the
Outline pane and this is what is ok. But then when in Outline pane I
select some method or field editor pane changes and only code with that
method is displayed. Recently the method was selected in the editor pane
but also the whole class was displayed. Now, only method is displayed and
if I want to see the whole class again I have to select class in Outline
pane.

Does sombedy know how did I turned this feature on and how can I turned
this feature off?

Thanks,
Jan.

Hello Jan

It seems to me that you activated the function called 'Show Source of
Selected Element Only' from the _main toolbar_. To deactivate, click
that button again.

Hope this helps

Michael

Hello Michael,

it helped but for some reason I didn't have that button in the main
toolbar. But after some searching I added it to toolbar using Customize
Perspective dialog and checking Java Editor Presentation field on Commands
tab.

Thanks,
Jan.

Thankyou for this answer Michael.
I started having this exact same problem yesterday, and have been
fruitlessly searching for a solution.

This was exactly the solution I needed. :-)
