Is there a way to build and EJB without xdoclet support? I am workign with
and older, but large set of EJB's without xdoclet. (manually maintain
ejb-jar.xml and jboss releated deployment artifacts).

or 2.) if you want to use xdoclet partly:
Look into the ant file for the xdoclet build.
Inside it is explained how to merge the xdoclet contents with external
xml files.
