Can't delete a resource from the C/C++ Projects view [message #131953] Fri, 17 December 2004 00:20 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello.

I have a problem when deleting a file from the C/C++ Projects view.
A confirm dialog pops up twice!!

I'm wondering this is a bug or not.

How my Eclipse works:
Using:Windows XP Pro. Eclipse 3.0.0. CDT 2.0.0.

1.Create a Standard Make C Project.
2.Create a new file to that project ex)xxx.txt
I won't see xxx.txt in the C/C++ Projects view.
3.Close and open the project.
Now xxx.txt appears in the C/C++ Projects view.
4.Select xxx.txt in the C/C++ Projects view and press the Delete key.
5.Confirm Resource Delete dialog pops up and I press Yes.
6.Confirm Resource Delete dialog pops up again, press Yes again.
7.xxx.txt still appears in the C/C++ Projects view.

Why does the Confirm Resource Delete dialog pop up twice?
Why does C/C++ Projects view continue to show a file that I deleted?

Does anybody know something?
Thanks.

Fujimoto.

I tried the same thing with CDT 2.0.2.
It all worked out OK.

These problems must have been secretly fixed in the latest releases...
I learned my lessons.

Thank you Gael.
