Hi all,
I wanted to access a sourcefoege account via anonymous cvs. However, I
failed to find the correct settings so that the files apear within the HEAD
folder once you open it.
An example is:
:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/eclipse-games
I leave the password empty and it seems that eclipse's validation of the
settings is fine. But cannot get any files from the account. Any hints?
I using eclipse 2.1.1 on WindowsXP. Thanks in advance.
Ciao,
Sebastian

:-) It seems sourceForge has read this post and has changed the name to
"cvs" again.

Update for those not tracking the bug, the answer is that SF responds with
cvspserver instead of cvs. At the bottom of the properties page for the
repository location there is an option that defaults to "Expect the default
program name "cvs" in text message prefixes from this server". You need to
change that to "Expect a custom program name" and enter cvspserver in the
box.

I did send them a message notifying them of the difficulty faced by =

they decided to change it. I know also that they moved servers so that =
could have caused the change as well.
