Hello,

This is my first day using eclipse..I am trying eclipse for my editor of
choice for ajax based web apps...i have never used eclipse before..I used
to work for bea and am very familar with workshop and found in previous
experience that many people user eclipse webtools to build standard web
applications...

I am currently using a ajax product from Jackbe that has its own ide and
uses tomcat to create a standard war structure but also has many extra
folders to hold ajax forms..they typically create these apps in the
tomcat/webapps directory...i want to then edit my jsp and ajax forms which
are javascript files in eclipse..i have been using ultra-edit until now,
but its poor at jsp and js editing..but great for java editing..

can someone tell me what I need to do use my existing webapps in
eclipse..i can see how to create news ones, new project..etc..but in this
case I dont want need a new project..i just want to edit those webapp
files from one editor..ie eclipse..

can someone tell me how or point me to good place to learn more..i am
finding tons of info here about eclipse too much to sort through as I only
need to add directory into eclipse and edit my js and jsp files...

also if someone can recommend any other plugins that are best..i would
appreciate it...the jsp editor for webtools seems poor and js too..i have
tried the js eclipse plugins..but have given them much testing..yet..

thanks to all..in advance!!!!
