problem starting server [message #124819] Mon, 19 December 2005 12:32

I am having trouble starting tomcat locally from eclipse. It worked fine
before, but after altering the server.xml and tomcat-users.xml files (to
set up the manager application), I cannot start tomcat. Nothing is printed
to the console when I try to start it from the Server view and when I try
to run a page on the server by right-clicking, I get a msg that says
"could not find a client that is able to launch the selection." I tried
deleting the changes I made to the .xml files, but the problem remains...

Any ideas as to what is happening?

Thanks!
